Basic Bytes Training

Poem for Computer Users Over 50

Interesting Senior Links

Are you being disadvantaged by not being able to use a computer or access the Internet?

More and more services can only be accessed over the Internet.

Using the internet can:

  • Allow you to access information;
  • Save you money by using service such as on-line banking; and
  • Enable you to keep in touch with family and friends.

Connect South West has received government funding to help seniors and others in the community “get on line”. To this end, we will be conducting free training sessions in basic computing and using the Internet.

To view the course outline, click here.

Are You Eligible?

To be eligible to enrol in one of the many Basic Bytes course that are conducted over the South West, you must be:

  • A senior (50 years plus); or
  • A carer for an intellectually or physically disabled person, or
  • A member of a community group or volunteer.

If you would like to book a place at one of our training sessions, please contact Joan Peters on 9722 3888.
